The purpose of this website is to offer encouragement, support, education and insights to Reiki Practitioners on all levels of Attunement, training and practice.  Its purpose is also to offer connection of local Practitioners who may feel isolated or alone in their practice and personal development.

MY HEART SPEAKS... I do not consider myself an "expert" in anything, but rather an inquisitive, passionate and adventurous participant of an Earth Life Journey.  Just because I'm a RMT does not mean I have it all figured out or live a "perfect" life in my Soul Expression on Earth as Cathy Campbell.  Mastery is a Life Journey - maybe even the journey of many Soul Expressions.  I would never dare to think of myself as some sort of guru or Master of Life in my mortality.  Like you, I'm here to re-member Who I Really Am, return to my Soul Essence and Source while living in a lower density realm of energy that is often very confusing and frustrating during our Return to Source.  What I share on this site and in person is simply experience and Soul re-membrance.  If the energy of my words and experiences resonate with you, then it is simply a reflection of your own Soul shining back at you through me.  We ARE One...One Heart of One Source...reminding each other of that fact.  What I share, I share with Divine Love and humbleness of Heart.  If it does not resonate with you then I encourage you to find that which DOES resonate with you along your own spiritual path...Return to Source in the way that most resonates with you. Shortcuts - Phrases that are common to Reiki Practitioners will be abbreviated throughout the website in the following ways:

• RP =    Reiki Practitioner(s)
• RP1 =  Reiki Practitioner Level 1
• RP2 =  Reiki Practitioner Level 2
• RMT = Reiki Master Teacher (also known as Level 3)
• HEF =  Human Energy Field

When referring to Reiki RP2 and RMT symbols, the names and drawings will not be included on this site.  Though the symbols are now available in some books and by searching the internet, it is a matter of personal respect and honor for the Usui Reiki tradition that I choose not to include them on this site.  However, if you are attuned at these levels, you are probably familar with the symbols' abbreviations.

Website Menu Notations: 

"Insights Along The Way" is an area that will be continuously updated with information, personal insights and experiences as a RMT.  This section will not always be solely about Reiki information.  Additions to this page will always occur in sequential date order, with the oldest additions being further down on that page.

"Energy Proffers" is an area where I will post information from nationally and internationally known authors, speakers and energy "experts". Proffering implies handing something to someone; so in the Energy Proffers I hand off to you what I feel to be valuable and if it resonates, GREAT...if not, then find what resonates. 

"Practitioners Speak Out" is an area where I will include information, insights and experiences from other Reiki Practitioners that I receive from emails.

"Practitioner Network" serves as a catalyst where I will list local Reiki and other complimentary and alternative Practitioner information, such as:

• bios
• focus
• philosophies

Providing this information has potential of connecting Reiki Practitioners and other alternative/complimentary Practitioners with one another for support, friendship and client referrals. 

This Network can serve as a source of immediate, 24/7, list of contact information of other Practitioners, for clients asking about other modalities and therapies on their healing path. 

I highly recommend getting to know a Practitioner a bit before referring them to clients; but the information is here and available upon a client's request.  Please only give your client a printout of Local Practitioners, not this website address.

North Central WV is showing signs of opening up to alternative and complimentary practices such as Reiki and other energy modalities; but it has been a slow process, and acceptance of these modalities still seems to be constricted to a large degree.  I believe that if Reiki Practitioners begin to network with one another in support of expansion, in an attitude and expression of Oneness and Love - transcending ego agendas - that together we can transmute the constricting energies of non-acceptance in this area.  It is my goal to assist in facilitating such support. At present time, which is almost half-way through 2009, I don't know exactly HOW the facilitation of this goal will manifest; but what I DO know is that there must be a first step toward that goal.  This website is that step of faith.  As Reiki Practitioners, we are greatly blessed in being attuned to a very subtle, high frequency energy that is assisting humanity's shift to higher consciousness on a global scale. Thank you, and congratulations to ALL of you who are partcipating in this great shift of energies.  It is a unique time in our human-spiritual evolution; and now more than ever, it seems fitting to come together as Practitioners in directly affecting our own geographical area. Solitude:

There are periods of time when the soul's journey through humanity involves isolation and solitude as we individually process and learn how to raise the vibration of our signature HEF to that of our soul's vibration, and our return to the One Heart.  Especially now, MANY seem to be going through a time of solitude as we experience major personal shifts, and planetary/universal shfits.  There's no "instruction manual or guide" as to how to go through this shift of which we are right in the middle of - the soul and our Source is now our only Guide in these times of "pleasant sadness" (see more about the pleasant sadness in Insights Along The Way).  But that is fitting, for that seems to be the major purpose of this shift:  to cease seeking what is outside of ourselves for direction, support, security and safety, and to go within, reconnecting with our souls - Who We Really Are and Returning to Source of All That Is ALL! 

Having experienced solitude and isolation myself for several years, and still returning to that solitude often, I lovingly say to those there right now, "keep the faith, continue your soul development and continue self-Reiki; but also be keenly aware if your soul indicates that solitude and isolation has served its purpose and is time to bring the higher vibrations into the world of density".  This is usually the very purpose of those times of solitude - to raise our own vibrations and learn the management of our signature energies. There is a very fine line of balance concerning solitude, and awarness of maintaining this balance is very important. 

Balancing Solitude and Isolation

During solitude, we ARE directly affecting the planetary shift of consciousness while we work with our signature energies and raise the HEF to the vibrations of our soul; so please don't listen to the voice of ego that tries to convince you that you're doing no good for anyone by isolating!  No doubt, there will also be those in your personal world that will voice concern, or tell you that you're too self-absorbed or pushing people away from your life.  This can be especially difficult if you have a Life Partner who does not practice or support energy work.  I wish I could offer some suggestions for people who are experiencing times of solitude whom have Life Partners, but I can't - at least not from experience.  My own journey of solitude and isolation has been during a time when I don't have a Life Partner, and have chosen not to pursue an intimate relationship for that very reason.  But I'm sure there are ways to work it out by consulting with your and your Partner's soul in the non-physical realms in which souls reside!  I do know by experience that MANY things can be worked out between people at soul levels, rather than pushing to work them out in the denser energies of our mortality.  Try it...I think you'll be amazed, and it's a excellent way of raising your own consciousness.

However, isolation CAN become a comfort-zone, and sometimes even a "cop-out" of sorts - a zone where we'd rather be comfortable "here" - away from people and situations that distract us, rather than going back "out there" to denser energies that could possibly "bring us down".  There ARE some people who do their best energy work, assisting the shifting of energies, from that place of solitude and isolation; and if that's how you feel called to work, then by all means do your work in that space!!  But I think the majority of Reiki Practitioners and energy workers are to go back into the denser energies and work with individuals and groups, bringing all the wealth and abundance they learn from the times of solitude and isolation. 

I know there are also those whom have already traveled the journey of solitude and, because of it, are now ready to unite with others in assisting the planetary shift through distant Reiki (HSZSN), clearing dense energies in the earth grid (SHK) and assisting individuals by giving Reiki Sessions.  It is also important at this time to support each other as energy and Light workers, in order to maintain our own higher vibrations!  Also, those going through these times of solitude and isolation will greatly benefit from the silent support of other Reiki Practitioners sending distant Reiki as they process through what can seem like dark times. 

Once we have stepped through thresholds and portals of higher energies, the next delicate balance is maintaining the now higher frequencies of our individual HEFs, and staying connected with our souls and Source.  This is the importance of regular self-Reiki...soul connection and HEF maintenance!  Yes, the challenges of daily Life and the dense energies of other people, situations and events, as well as the shifting 3D systems of politics, education, financial and corporate institutions, etc., can quickly bring us "down" to our former patterns of fear reaction.  At this time, it is more vital than ever to garnish support of like-minded people who are, and have been, shifting into the higher frequencies.  THAT is the purpose of this website.  So now, a couple more things to mention before you go the site menu.

Differences, Competition and Ego Agendas:

There will always be differences of opinion and practice among Reiki Practitioners.  Differences such as:  use of symbols, techniques, personal Reiki practices, individual Reiki focus, how we teach Reiki (as RMTs), Reiki fees, personal spiritual beliefs and practices, and personal opinions of others.   While these differences are part of our human experiences and personality patterns, if we focus on the differences then we are supporting our own ego agendas and not the shift into higher consciousness.  As energy and Light workers, these are opportunities for personal growth and development.  This is how we learn to "take the high road"!

Differences serve us and the whole very well, if we allow.  Because of our differences, we are able to serve a wider range of people seeking assistance in their Life Journey.  Not all of our new clients are going to resonate with us either; and when they don't, we can take it personally and support our egos, or kindly refer them to another qualified Practitioner. But who will we send them to if we don't network and support each other?  Again, the purpose of this site.

Competition between Practitioners is another ego agenda.  If we are threatened by other Practitioners, or find ourselves jealous of their "success", then going back into solitude with the soul would be very beneficial.  I highly suggest "down time", away from doing sessions and/or classes and attuenments for a period of time to allow yourself the time needed to transmute these ego patterns through soul connection and self-Reiki.  Once you've returned to your soul, if the patterns re-surface (and they likely will!) then consider it yet another opportunity to notice the pattern, laugh with joy for the opportunity to activate your soul vibrations, and thank ego for bringing it to the surface for you to notice.  Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up over it, but move on and move UP!

From what I'm understanding, the Law of Attraction becomes stronger as we vibrate with higher frequencies; so if we harbor jealousy of other Practitioners, we are LESS likely to draw clients for our services and will probably even REPEL clients! This is NOT a time for competition, but support of each other for the higher good of all.

The Importance of Grounding:

Grounding is VERY important for everyone at this time of major shifting, but especially important for anyone directly involved with energy work. 

I've included a beautiful grounding exercise I practice quite often in "Meditations" on the site menu.  When practicing it together at one of our local Support Meetings, everyone commented on how beautiful, easy and powerful it was. 

On a personal note, I've lived the major part of my Life UN-grounded, and never realized it until I began regular grounding meditations and intent just in the last year or two.  What a huge difference in my Life!!

When we are UN-grounded, we experience some of these "symptoms":

• lots of mind chatter and mental self-bantering
• a feeling of frenzy and chaos (mentally and emotionally)
• feelings of being insecure and unsafe
• various fears and a sense of panic
• forgetfulness, feeling "spaced out" and sometimes dizziness
• frequent clumsiness and small accidents
• often having good ideas, but a seeming inability to follow through or manifest them

Grounding for us humans works in the same way as a grounding wire in electrical work.  There must be a ground wire in place to complete the connection for electricity to flow.  When the grounding wire is not in place, you will receive an electrical shock.  (more to come on this...)
